The mature cystic teratoma is the most common ovarian germ cell neoplasm and comprises approximately 10~20% of all ovarian tumors. It contains of all three germ layers. There are many complications in dermoid cyst such as rupture, torsion,
infection,
suppuration, and rarely malignant change. Squamous cell carcinoma or sebaceous carcinoma in a ovarian dermoid cyst is a rare entity, and especially sebaceous carcinoma is very rare case. We experienced a case of squamous cell carcinoma and a case
of
sebaceous carcinoma arising in mature cystic teratoma of the ovary. Two patients were performed total abdominal hysterectomy and bilateral salpingoophorectomy.
